People of all abilities will be joining the famous pilgrimage called el Camino de Santiago from France to Spain in order to raise funds for Inspire – The Foundation for Inclusion. 

There is no single route for this pilgrimage and many pilgrims follow different paths for their journey from St Jean Pied du Pord in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains in France, through the vast wine region, along the plains and right up to the Holy Grail that is the Cathedral. The route is one of Unesco’s World Heritage Sites.

People of all abilities are being invited to join this spiritual pilgrimage along a pathway steeped in history and religious tradition.

In addition to being an enriching personal experience, taking part in this walk will be an opportunity to raise funds through sponsorships for the many people Inspire helps.

There will be two trips organised by Inspire, one from September 11 to 18 and another from September 18 to 25.

In order to participate, a minimum deposit of €200 needs to be made and the fundraising target is €595. For those with a disability, the fundraising target is €395. The price includes flights, accommodation, six dinners, tour guides, transport in Spain and any training prior to the event.

This is a great opportunity to take part in one of the most famous spiritual pilgrimages in all of Europe while raising funds for people with a disability.
