Award winning classical guitarist Thomas Abela returns to Malta to perform a programme consisting of spiritual music and dances written for guitar. Works include the haunting but delicate ‘Invocacion y Danza’ by Joaquín Rodrigo, ‘Whirler of the Dance’ by US based composer Carlos Rafael Rivera and a rare performance of Sir John Tavener’s ‘Chant’ for guitar.
