This year the First Malta International Organ Festival will be taking place between 28th August and 12th September 2014.

The opening concert will feature the highly acclaimed International organist residing in Malta, Wayne Marshall.

Other famous international organists will come from Italy, Sicily, Holland, Norway, Russia and Estonia. These include the Vatican organist Gianluca Libertucci, Erwin Wiersinga (Holland) and Andres Uibo (Estonia).

The concerts will almost be everyday during the two week span, and will also feature the Malta Police Band (commemorating the 200 years Police Force anniversary), singers, organ and trumpet concert, and much more.  The final concert by Andres Uibo at St John's Co-Cathedral will also include a string orchestra under the direction of the Russian conductor Mro Dmitri Banaev.

The entrance for the concerts will be free of charge.  A donation to the Dar Nazareth Foundation would be appreciated.
