The right toothbrush
This choice is crucial for a good oral health.
- Opt for a size of toothbrush appropriate for your children's mouth,
- Large handle for a good holding,
- Choose flexible bristles rather than hard ones, to protect the gum.
Tip :
⇉ Let your child choose their own toothbrush
That will allow them to be more independent and enjoy using a toothbrush.
Bonus :
- Replace their toothbrush every three months

Brushing frequency
According to your children's age:
- From the appearance of their first baby tooth, at least twice per day, but ideally three times,
- Until three years old, brushing twice a day is enough,
- After six years old, brush after every meal.
Do not neglect nighttime brushing, since bacteria increase in the mouth proliferate due to the decrease of saliva production while sleeping.
Time:
- Between three and six years old, a proper brushing should last two minutes,
- After six years old, should last three minutes.
Tips:
⇉ Turn brushing into a game: Sing, dance, listen to music, etc,
⇉ Use an hourglass or a timer, to allow your kid to control the brushing's time.

Thus, by making a fun routine, and thanks to play activity, your children will see it as an enjoyable moment rather than a chore.
