Easter EggCitement is one of the most anticipated events that BirdLife Malta organises. It is an excellent opportunity to have a day out with the family, be in nature and enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt and other activities within Simar Nature Reserve! 

 

 

 

👉 Activities: 

Bird ringing (Hide 1) 

You will have the chance to observe bird ringing, a conservation tool that gives us insight into the lives of birds. 

 

Birdwatching & Migration (Hide 2) 

Children will be guided to do some birdwatching and learn all about why birds migrate.  

 

Arts and Crafts (Olive Grove) 

Children will experiment with crafting their own bird nest and lots of colouring in for them to do.   

 

Easter Egg Hunt (Area behind kiosk) 

There will be four Easter Egg Hunt sessions. Each session will last for around 30 minutes and is open for children aged 3-8 years old. 

 

Easter Treasure Hunt (Visitors Centre to Hide 3) 

There will be four Easter Treasure Hunt sessions. Each session will last for around 30 minutes and is open for children aged 9-12 years old.  

 

👉 Price 

€5 per child for the Easter Egg Hunt & the Easter Treasure Hunt. Payment to be made on the day. Please arrive 15 minutes before the session you book.

Please note that you will not receive a confirmation of your booking immediately. The organizers will send an email confirmation once the session you booked for has been fully-booked.

 

â˜_x009d_ï¸_x008f_ Places are limited for both the Easter Egg Hunt and for the Easter Treasure Hunt due to limited space within the reserve. Therefore, they ask that only one parent/guardian attend with each child. However, there is space for other parents to wait either within the Visitors Centre or in the open green space next to the reserve.
