A Family Picnic will be held on Sunday, 16th November, 2014 from 10:30 till 15:00 at San Anton Gardens. Entrance fee: €3 per person. Food will be available for purchase. Entertainment during the event…….Cheeramigos…Zumba for kids…Puppet show….Balloon man…Face painting…..games and much more.

Kilimanjaro Challenge 8 is made up of group of 19 individuals from Malta who in December 2014 will venture up the slopes of the highest free-standing mountain on the planet, Kilimanjaro, in the hope of making it to the summit and at the same time fund-raising for a worthy cause. Through Kilimanjaro Challenge 8 (KC8), we will be assisting a project undertaken by the Moviment Missjunarju Gesù fil-Proxxmu (“Jesus in Thy Neighbour” Missionary Movement). All proceeds from this event are going towards collecting €65,000 to finance the construction of a Kindergarten school in Gambella, Ethiopia. This project will be named in honour of Nirvana Azzopardi, a friend dear to many who recently lost her battle to cancer, courageously borne.
