Uncover the past, piece by piece!

On Wednesday 23rd April, Heritage Malta is inviting children aged between 8 and 12 to discover the world of archaeology uniquely at the fascinating National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta.

What better way for young ones to make best use of their Easter holidays than to learn about their roots whilst making fun memories?

Young participants in this event will first enjoy a guided tour of the museum, which houses a spectacular collection of artefacts from the Maltese Islands' prehistory and early history, dating back to Malta's Neolithic period (5900-2500BC) up till the early Phoenician period (8th-6th century BC).

Following this, participants will wash pottery and mark archaeological finds, just like real experts in the field. Every artefact tells a story!

Sessions will be taking place at 9:30am10:30 am and 12:00pm, and will be offered in both Maltese and English according to participants' needs.

Tickets cost €10.00 each and include one accompanying adult per child.

Book your spot now at Store – Heritage Malta or at any Heritage Malta museum or site.
