Aġenzija Appoġġ is currently organising Family Workshops for parents experiencing several difficulties in their life particularly in relation to child upbringing.

Aġenzija Appoġġ comes in contact with a large number of families that are going through difficult times such as mental or physical health difficulties, relationship problems, financial difficulties, unemployment, isolation, difficulties in the upbringing of their children and many other issues.

These workshops consist of a group of parents (between 8 and 10 participants) that would meet once a week for two hours for a period of approximately five months. Child minding is also provided. Parents who have been dependent for a long time on social services / at risk of becoming dependent on social services may also benefit to the Family Workshops.

Persons willing to participate or professionals who would like to refer a family for these workshops may contact Aġenzija Appoġġ on 2295 9000 during office hours, or send an email on appogg.gov.mt. Participation is free of charge.
